We met online through a dating service called OkCupid. Both of us were completely skeptical, but were convinced to join by friends since we had not found what we were looking for near us. Justin and I were matched up in July 2013 - I sent him a message, and several days later, he answered. We spoke through messages and later exchanged phone numbers, talking for several weeks before going on our first date in August 2013 at the Garden Cafe in York, SC

There were a million things running through my mind on the drive there, and all I could think was please look like your picture! Luckily for both of us, we did and enjoyed lunch and more in depth conversation. It was so great to finally see him and really know if we had chemistry! The first date went so well, we really didn't want to leave - but Justin worked second shift at the time, and had to go home and change before heading into work. We continued to date for several months, culminating in a weekend trip to Boone, NC in October 2013. The weekend after that trip, we both knew we had to see where it went - Justin asked me to be his girlfriend! And the rest, as they say, is history- we've been together ever since!
